A book is in fact, an interactive experience. Approaching the object on the table, holding it in your hand and moving through the pages are all moments of interactivity that can be heightened or augmented by the decisions designers make, or don't make. The book is about entrances and exists; it is about rhythm; it is about surprises. Each text has its own structural concerns, how do you as a designer address these structures? It is important to ask yourself "what will my contribution be? How can I make this reading experience enjoyable? Exciting?”
